The Grammy for Best Recording Package, which honors a project's visual look, goes to record's art directors: Sarah Dodds, Shauna Dodds and Dick Reeves. The cardboard package for Still the King was designed to look like a vintage cigar box. It features an original tax stamp illustration by Austin artist John Wilson, a custom portrait of Wills inside the "cigar box lid" and an illustrated set of Still the King cigars, made to look like early cigar advertisements. The CD label artwork looks like an old 78 record.

Still the King features collaborations with George Strait, Brad Paisley, Shooter Jennings, Lyle Lovett, the Avett Brothers, Old Crow Medicine Show and more.
