The Academy of Country Music has announced the date for the 2014 ACM Honors.

The annual event will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.

The ceremony, now in its eighth year year, will include musical tribute performances and award presentations to honor non-televised award recipients and winners from the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, which will be held in April.

The evening's honorees will include winners of the Industry Award, Studio Recording Award (previously known as Musician/Bandleader/Instrumentalist or MBI Awards), and the Songwriter of the Year Award.

Last year's winners included Lady Antebellum, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton and the late Hank Williams.

Dierks Bentley has hosted the awards ceremony for the last two years. The 2014 honorees and the evening's emcee will be announced at a later date. Keep track of updates here.
