2017 Americana Music Awards Nominees -- Full List

Sturgill Simpson, Lori McKenna and Rodney Crowell are among the nominees for the 2017 Americana Music Awards. Simpson leads this year's nominees, with three nods, while McKenna, Crowell and the Drive-By Truckers all earned two nods each.

The Americana Music Association announced 2017's Americana Music Awards nominees on Tuesday (May 9), during an event at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The Milk Carton Kids, winners of Duo / Group of the Year at the 2014 Americana Music Awards, hosted the ceremony and helped to announce this year's nominees; they, Jason Isbell, the Jerry Douglas Band, Caitlin Canty and Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley of the Drive-By Truckers all performed during the event as well.

A complete list of 2017 Americana Music Awards nominees is below. The Americana Music Awards ceremony takes place annually at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, during the Americana Music Festival, a week-long celebration of the genre. The 2017 Americana Music Awards are scheduled for Sept. 13, with the conference set for Sept. 12-17.
