The Academy of Country Music revealed the nominees for the 2017 ACM Awards on Thursday morning (Feb. 16), and it didn't take long for artists to hear the big news ... and start sharing their thoughts on social media.

New artist nominees Maddie & Tae, Chris Jason, Dan + Shay and Jon Pardi were among those who celebrated their nods on Twitter. Fellow new artist nominee Lauren Alaina was so excited that she found herself in tears ... in an airport!

Multi-nominee Maren Morris, meanwhile, called her six nods "so humbling" -- and joked that her motto for ACM Awards week would be #VegasAtTheMandarin, a phrase from her song "Rich." And it looks as though her boyfriend, singer-songwriter Ryan Hurd, will be there cheering her on ... even if that means rooting against Dierks Bentley's Black and Florida Georgia Line's Dig Your Roots, two albums on which he has cuts, in favor of Morris' Hero winning Album of the Year.
