Thomas Rhett, Luke Bryan and Chris Stapleton took home a trophy at Sunday night's (May 22) 2016 Billboard Music Awards.

Bryan received Top Country Artist, while Stapleton earned Top Country Album. Rhett, meanwhile, was honored with Top Country Song, for his smash hit "Die a Happy Man."

“This is incredible," Rhett said while accepting his honor. "Never in a million years did I think that being a songwriter sitting on a bus writing a song about who we love would win an award like this."

Rhett was the only country artist to accept an award during the BBMA's three-hour broadcast ceremony. Other nominated acts included Sam Hunt, Carrie Underwood and Zac Brown Band, among others. Country-turned-pop star Taylor Swift was also nominated for eight awards, including Top Artist; she took home one of them, Top Touring Artist.

A full list of winners is available on Billboard‘s website.
