Darius Rucker is giving fans an idea of what they can expect at his 2015 Darius and Friends benefit concert.

The concert is set for June 8, at the Wildhorse Saloon in downtown Nashville. The sixth annual event will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

“Growing up, my mother instilled in me the importance of giving back. Whether it was mowing a neighbor’s yard or helping during the loss of a loved one, it’s important on so many levels,” Rucker says. “Just like St. Jude, I’ve been given so much from the music community over the years, so this is one of the ways I know how to say thanks. Not only is this one of my favorite shows all year, but it’s a great platform to remind so many of the incredible work done by St. Jude.”

The concert and accompanying golf tournament, which takes place this year on June 9, have raised over $439,000 for St. Jude. Last year's event alone raised over $120,000.

“This is one of my favorite events every year, and I’m so glad we’re able to support St. Jude,” Rucker says. “St. Jude does such amazing work for young cancer patients and their families, and I’m grateful to all my fellow artists and friends for coming together to have some fun and support such a great cause.”

Rucker will be announcing the 2015 lineup in the coming weeks, but past performers have included Luke BryanRandy HouserJamey JohnsonLady Antebellum's Charles Kelley, Dustin LynchJustin MooreJerrod NiemannKenny Rogers and others. The event serves as a kick-off of sorts for Nashville's CMA Music Fest, which takes place June 11-14.
