Although Christmas is still a few weeks away, the holidays came to Nashville on Saturday (Nov. 7) for the taping of the 2015 CMA Country Christmas special.

Jennifer Nettles returned as the show's host for the sixth year, also performing throughout the event, which taped in front of a live audience at the Grand Ole Opry House. Previously, the show had taken place at Bridgestone Arena.

"The Opry was the home of the CMA Awards for many years, and it is nice to be back," explains CMA Chief Executive Officer Sarah Trahern of the choice to switch venues. "And taping the show on Saturday is more convenient for Nashville families who have made this part of their holiday traditions.”

Also on hand for the concert were Charles Kelley, Kelsea Ballerini, Dan + Shay, Mickey Guyton and many more. The full lineup is available on the CMA Country Christmas website.

“The holiday season is all about spreading joy. That’s one of my favorite things about CMA Country Christmas,” says Nettles (quote via WKRN-TV). “The festive performances and powerful collaborations, with so many artists I admire, make this the most wonderful time of the year!”

The 2015 CMA Country Christmas special is scheduled to air on Dec. 3 at 9P ET on ABC.
