Country music stars and fans braved some harsh weather to make the third day of the 2014 CMA Music Festival a memorable one.

The day started off with good weather in Nashville, and highlights from the day's activities included a performance by Craig Morgan at the CMA Close Up stage, which earned him a standing ovation.

Scotty McCreery, Sara Evans, Florida Georgia Line and many more also stepped up to bat for the City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game, which pitted the iHeartRadio team against Team Opry. Led by McCreery, Team Opry won 13-11.

The nightly shows at LP Field were threatened when thunderstorms swept the area, drenching Nashville in heavy rains. The concerts were delayed, but that didn't stop the fans or performers from having a great time. Sara Evans, Little Big Town, Darius Rucker and Florida Georgia Line performed before Keith Urban took the stage to close the night's festivities.

Urban opened with 'Long Hot Summer,' and performed an up-tempo set that included 'Good Thing,' as well as a guest appearance from Little Big Town's Karen Fairchild on 'We Were Us.' He closed his set with 'You Gonna Fly,' joined by Florida Georgia Line.
