Rascal Flatts have already donated countless hours and helped raise millions of dollars for various medical causes, mainly through their partnership with Nashville's Monroe Carell, Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, and now the trio are extending their goodwill even further.

The Flatts' Joe Don Rooney, Gary LeVox and Jay DeMarcus recently signed on to headline the inaugural Music for Champions Benefit Concert on March 19 in Orlando, Fla., as part of the 34th annual Arnold Palmer Invitational, with proceeds benefiting the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and the T.J. Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS Research.

Another musical act, who will be announced in the next few weeks, will join the 'Banjo' singers for the concert, which will also include a live auction. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.

The award-winning trio, whose charitable endeavors also include serving on the Red Cross Celebrity Cabinet and serving as celebrity spokespersons for a national suicide prevention organization, the Jason Foundation, will be honored later this month for their altruistic efforts. The group will receive the 2012 Artist Humanitarian Award at this year's Country Radio Seminar (CRS) in Nashville, Feb. 22.

Rascal Flatts are in the middle of their Thaw Out tour, with Sara Evans and Hunter Hayes serving as opening acts, but already have their eyes on their next trek. They recently announced a summer full of concert dates, dubbed the American Band tour, which will include Little Big Town, Edens Edge and the Eli Young Band. See their concert schedule here.

Their next studio album, 'Changed,' will hit shelves April 3. Pre-order a copy here.
