Bikers, Idol light and hockey pucks are all getting a kick from our spurs. Let's start on ice.

Look for a lot more of Carrie Underwood with her face up against the glass at Nashville Predators hockey games, since the team just acquired her husband Mike Fisher. Mike apparently has been a model husband, and some attribute that to the fact Carrie warned him that if she ever caught him going astray she would gladly carve her name into the leather seats of his souped up Zamboni machine.

Dierks Bentley had over 30,000 fans watch him record 15 songs in the studio during his interactive internet live stream. One female viewer said she was able to open the door of the medicine cabinet in the bathroom with a right click of her mouse and is promising to reveal what she found for a price.

Get your motors running, girls. Trace Adkins is back in Hollywood filming a new movie with Matthew McConaughey titled 'The Lincoln Lawyer.' Trace's role is that of a biker leading the outlaw gang of "Badassadonks" up against his old rival, Piers Morgan, and his tribe of "Brits With Attitudes." Only one gang can survive. Who will Donald Trump pick this time?

File this one under the "just what we don't need" category. There is yet another televised talent contest on the way. This one will be produced by Nygel Lythgo, who had a big hand in producing 'American Idol' ... but this is no 'Idol' knockoff. Sources tell me there will be a lot of differences in the two shows:

For one, there's a swimsuit contest. One piece for solo acts, two piece for duets.

Second, there will be a competition to see who can text a full set of lyrics the fastest while recording the song into their Smart Phone using their Pro Tools app.

Third, each competitor must try to leap across a bunch of big blue inflatable balls floating in water while singing 'Rocky Top.' (I'm betting not one contestant will ever get to "home sweet home to me.")

And lastly, the actual singing performances will be only judged after they've been run through a vocal tuning machine.

The show will air on CMT and has a working title of 'America's Got Idol Talent Amazing Race to Be a Nashville Star Apprentice.' The winner receives a 360 recording deal from YouTube. Can't wait for another slice of original programming.

Til next time kiddies ... behave yourselves.
