Carrie Underwood Cherishes First Grammy Award

Sunday night (Jan. 31), Carrie Underwood has the chance to add two more Grammys to her mantle, as 'Just A Dream' is nominated for Best Country Female Vocal and her duet with Randy Travis, 'I Told You So,' is up for Best Country Collaboration. Regardless if she walks away with another trophy, Carrie says it will never be quite as special as the first Grammy she won in 2007, which she displays proudly in her home.

"When I heard my name called, all I can remember is being numb from excitement and adrenaline," she writes on Grammy.com, recalling her victory for Best New Artist. "Since then, there have been many awards, and I hope that there will be a few more nominations in the future, but you only get one year to be nominated for this amazing award. If I never win another one, I will always have the Best New Artist Grammy Award in my cabinet to gaze upon. To future winners of this award ... cherish every moment of it! And congratulations!"

At this year's Grammys, Carrie will also take part in a special 3-D tribute to Michael Jackson, with the premiere of a production that Michael had intended to use on his 'This Is It' tour. Other performers to join Carrie in the performance include Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Celine Dion and Smokey Robinson. The Grammy Awards air this Sunday at 8:00 PM ET on CBS.
