John Rich Allegedly Slugs Rocker

John Rich's trip to the west coast this week has been quite violent. The Big & Rich singer has been in two alleged fights in two nights!

TMZ is reporting that Rich was involved in a physical altercation at a hotel in West Hollywood early Friday morning. Apparently, Rich and Jerry Montano, the former bassist from the rock band Danzig, began fighting at the Mondrian Hotel just after 4 AM PT. TMZ claims that Rich smacked Montano in the face with a beer bottle (see a photo of the rocker's bloody face here). Paramedics were called to the scene, but no one was taken to the hospital. Police have not made any arrests in the matter, and both Rich and Montano declined to press charges.

This fight comes just two days after Rich was involved in another brawl, this one Wednesday evening at the Saddle Ranch bar on Hollywood's Sunset Strip. Rich told police that he was minding his own business when a male patron punched him in the ear. Rich made a citizen's arrest on the spot and police eventually showed up to take the alleged assailant to jail.
