What has been the highlight of your career so far?

There have been a lot of them for me. I won this competition called 'Star Maker' in Australia in 1990. And that was really the start of a new chapter in my life, because I got signed to a record deal through that contest. And that allowed me to start making trips to America, which was my childhood dream, to come to Nashville. Also, winning the Horizon Award at the CMAs was mind-blowing. My first No. 1 song, that was insane. I remember the day they told me, I couldn't take it in. I thought, "What kind of strange chart could that be?" And they said, "It's Billboard!" [laughs] Those kind of moments -- wow, it's hard to narrow it down.
