Tim McGraw has said he would accept another acting role if the right opportunity came along, and now it seems that has occurred. The singer hints that he is soon returning to the big screen, but won't reveal many details of the upcoming project.

“There’s something really cool going on,” he tells ABC News Radio (quote via Country Weekly). “So, I can’t really say much about it, but it’s gonna be a lot of fun."

McGraw, whose previous acting credits include 'Country Strong,' 'The Blind Side,' 'Friday Night Lights' and 'Four Christmases,' will have to juggle playing his shows at the Venetian in Las Vegas alongside his wife, Faith Hill, and filming the new movie.

“I’m looking forward to getting involved in it. So, it’s gonna be a busy winter," he admits. “I don’t know if it’s a surprising role, but it’s gonna be a great film.”

The 'Southern Girl' singer acknowledges that finding an acting role that fits into his tight schedule is a challenge. "The hardest thing is timing," he concedes. "You can read 50 scripts and not find anything that you like. It’s much like finding songs; you listen to thousands of songs and you find those magic things, and for me it all has to start with a script, of course. If that’s not right, then nothing’s right.”

McGraw recently wrapped up his successful Two Lanes of Freedom tour. The next series of shows in Las Vegas will begin on Oct. 25. See all of his upcoming shows here.
