Taylor Swift Learns to ‘Play It Cool’ With Guys
Taylor Swift knows she'll have to kiss a few frogs before she finds her prince. So, the 19-year-old superstar has a smart approach to dating.
"Right now I play it cool," she tells Rolling Stone. "If he doesn't want to be with you, then let him do what he wants to do. The worst thing in the world to do is kick and scream and nag."
Still, Swift knows heartache is actually a good thing for her career. Broken relationships have inspired some chart-topping hits like 'White Horse' and 'Teardrops on My Guitar.'
"The only time I lose my temper is in songs," she says. "I'm enthralled by relationships and I love the drama in them, but that's usually where it lives. I'm not a dramatic person. I like to let people state their case before I get irrational about things."
Swift is making her own case for being in the record books. Her sophomore album, 'Fearless,' is now in its tenth consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. That's just two weeks shy of Santana's record. The guitar legend spent 12 weeks at No. 1 with his 'Supernatural' album.
