Siblings John and TJ Osborne grew up singing together in their hometown of Deale, Md.; they realized early on that John's impressive guitar skills combined with TJ's innate vocal abilities created a sound that made everyone -- from their high school friends to neighbors who gathered at their house for all-night jams -- take notice. The brothers relocated to Nashville to hone both their songwriting skills and their artistry; they first signed a publishing contract, with Warner Chappell, then signed a record deal with EMI. The Brothers Osborne earned two Top 40 hits, "Let's Go There" and "Rum," before releasing "Stay a Little Longer," the second single from their debut album, 'Pawn Shop', which became their first major hit. After serving as an opening act for both Darius Rucker and Miranda Lambert, the Osbornes launched their first headlining tour, the Dirt Rich Tour, in the fall of 2016; John Osborne married singer Lucie Silvas, who served as the opening act on the Dirt Rich Tour, in 2015. The duo released their sophomore album, 'Port Saint Joe,' in 2018. The album was recorded in Port St. Joe, Fla., in what the duo called a 'terrible idea, logistically speaking' but creatively productive decision to record the project as a destination album. That year, they also joined Dierks Bentley on his Mountain High Tour, and subsequently announced an extensive tour of their own for 2019. In 2020, despite setbacks from the COVID-19 pandemic and a March tornado that struck Nashville, the duo dropped their third record, 'Skeletons.' Still songwriters as well as singers, the Brothers Osborne have had their songs cut by artists such as David Nail, Randy Houser and Tim McGraw.
