Country trio Rascal Flatts have a brand new single, "I Like the Sound of That," impacting radio Monday (Aug. 31).

"I Like the Sound of That" is the group's fourth single from current record Rewind which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart.

The single is upbeat and unbelievably hooky -- until you realize that Dan + Shay's Shay Mooney, Jesse Frasure and pop queen Meghan Trainor penned the song.

“'I Like the Sound of That' is one of the most fun tracks that I had the opportunity to work on for this record,” says Flatts' member Jay DeMarcus. "The melody is so infectious, the lyrics are fresh and we're absolutely thrilled that it's our new single and we can't wait for people to hear this!"

The opening verse is a refreshing sound for the trio, with lyrics that are suggestive and lighthearted. "I love hearing that shower turn on / Bet there's nothin' but a towel on you / You sing along with some Timberlake bumpin' / But he ain't got nothin' on you," Flatts' lead vocalist Gary LeVox sings. The chorus admits that all the singer wants to do is go back to his girl's place and cozy up to her. "It's a little too loud on the highway / I wanna pull back in your driveway / It's way too quiet at my place / Wanna come on over, come on over."

The fall anthem will pump up any back-to-school drive, from high school seniors to moms dropping their kids off at pre-K for the very first time.

Flatts are currently on the road with their Riot Tour 2015 and guests Scotty McCreery and RaeLynn are part of the trek.
