"Like a Cowboy" has earned Randy Houser his third career CMA Awards nomination, this time for Song of the Year.

The tune, which Houser co-wrote with Brice Long, is off of his third album, How Country Feels, and is Houser's fourth Top 5 single from the album.

“I’m just so honored and humbled,” Houser says of his nomination. “As an artist, you don’t get into this for anything except your love for music, so to get to this point is kind of surreal. When you give it everything you’ve got and make sacrifices, to be recognized by fans, the industry and fellow artists, it really means the world.

"I grew up watching the CMAs and looking forward to those performances every year. It was the Super Bowl of music in a way for me," he adds. "So, I feel blessed to be at this point.”

Houser recently released the follow-up to "Like a Cowboy," "We Went." The song will be featured on his upcoming album and is the namesake for his upcoming tour. A list of tour dates can be found on Houser's website.

The 2015 CMA Awards will air live from Nashville on Nov. 4 at 8PM ET on ABC.
