Randy Houser had quite a scare over the weekend when a bird slammed into the engine of the private jet plane he was flying on. The country star was on his way to Birmingham, Ala., to open for Pat Green as part of the Jagermiester Country tour. During takeoff, the passengers felt a bump and heard a loud thump, and the plane banked sharply left. The pilot turned back to the Nashville airport and landed safely.

"We didn't get in until right before show time," Houser blogged on his website after finally arriving in Birmingham. "I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared!"

Birds were also what caused a US Airways flight to make a crash landing in New York's Hudson River back in January. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured in that accident either.

Houser jokes that he might pay tribute to the experience with a new song: 'Beer and a Babywipe.'
