Pop-country newcomer Paige Williams is premiering her song new song "Wild" exclusively for readers of The Boot. Press play below to listen.

"Wild" is a rebellious power anthem, driven by a pulsing beat, loud electric guitars and Williams' powerful vocals. "I put my heels on the gas, then I throw my head back like a bronco," Williams sings in the song's intro. "I ain't no rose, not a thing to hold / I'll be damned if I do, and damned if I don't."

"They used to call me wildflower / I'm tellin' them hell no / No, they must not know / I'm just wild," the artist adds in the chorus of "Wild." The track exemplifies Williams' "California country" style with its bright, upbeat vibe.

A singer-songwriter who was born in Palm Springs, Calif., Williams splits her time between California and Canada. In addition to "Wild," she has also released "Ain't No Saint" and "Give You Hell," equally rebellious tunes that are currently getting airplay on Canadian country and satellite radio stations. She's set to release her EP California Country, on which "Wild" appears, on Jan. 26.
