Little Jimmy Dickens is back! The Grand Ole Opry member, who announced in June that he was undergoing radiation treatment on his vocal cords, has returned to the Opry stage, healthier than ever.

The 92-year-old, who in addition to performing has also resumed his role as an unofficial backstage greeter, took to Twitter last week to express his thoughts on his return.

The West Virginia native also gave Twitter shout-outs to recent Opry performers Eric Paslay, Diamond Rio and Hunter Hayes, as well as the newest Opry inductees, Old Crow Medicine Show.

Dickens credits his fans with his speedy recovery from the pre-cancerous condition. “I can’t begin to express my sincere gratitude for the thoughts and prayers that are being sent my way,” he says.

Little Jimmy Dickens has been an Opry member since 1948.
