Shaboozey Sets a Billboard First
Records were made to be broken and country music got to see another first this week as Shaboozey has hit the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts with his smash hit "A Bar Song (Tipsy)."
That is on the heels of the song going to the top spot on the Hot Country Charts.
With him holding the top spots on both charts he becomes the first Black man to hold both spots at the same time. He becomes the second Black artist to achieve the mark following Beyoncé's hit "Texas Hold 'Em" earlier this year.
The 29 year-old-singer's smash hit "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" is off the Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going LP, which rose as high as No. 2 on the Top Country Albums.

Shaboozey has also been rubbing elbows with some of the biggest names in music and sports. Shaboozey performed at Michael Rubin's famous White Party, a notorious party attended by the who's who in the worlds of music and sports and the highlights were, of course, set to his music. (You can see him at the 52 second mark)
Records, parties, top selling albums... needless to say, Shaboozey is having himself one heck of a summer.
