Miranda Lambert made a guest appearance on the Tuesday (Sept. 24) episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, a special "Songs & Stories" installment that was filmed on the rooftop of New York, N.Y.'s 30 Rock building.

Lambert and show host Kelly Clarkson donned sunglasses for the occasion, as they discussed Lambert's new album Postcards From Texas and performed multiple songs together, including Lambert's "No Man's Land."

Another performance was a cover: Lambert and Clarkson came together for a seemingly-impromptu duet rendition of pop breakout Chappell Roan's hit, "Good Luck, Babe!" after realizing that both of them were fans.

"It's so good," Lambert says of Roan's latest album, explaining that her brother and his husband were the ones who first turned her onto the new music.

"I love anything authentic. It's so cool," she goes on to say.

"I hope she thinks we're cool," Lambert joked before the pair jumped into a harmony-rich rendition of "Good Luck, Babe!"

The country superstar took the first verse of the song, with Clarkson reaching up for the high notes in the chorus as Lambert harmonized.

Lambert's shared support for Roan several times in the past, including on the red carpet at the 2024 VMAs, which Lambert attended as a presenter.

The country singer's latest album, Postcards From Texas, arrived earlier this month.
