Late Conservative Pundit Lou Dobbs’ Stunning Estate on the Market for Reduced Price — See Inside! [Pictures]
Late Fox Business and CNN star Lou Dobbs' stunning Florida estate is on the market amid his death, and pictures show an immaculate residence that spares no expense. The buyer will be getting a deal on the property, which has just been reduced.
Dobbs listed his 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom, 5,111-square-foot mansion in West Palm Beach, Fla., for $3.1 million in April of 2024, according to online property sites. The price dropped to $2.9 million on July 16, just days before the 78-year-old conservative pundit's death was announced on July 18.
Dobbs' massive, Mediterranean-style mansion nestles on just under three-quarters of an acre in an exclusive area of West Palm Beach. The pristine property is surrounded by palm trees and provides direct waterfront access to a lake.
The luxurious residence boasts high ceilings, arched doorways, stone floors and oversized windows that flood the large rooms with natural light.
The living room offers a coffered ceiling, floor-to-ceiling windows and a massive fireplace, while the generously sized primary suite includes a sitting area and steps directly into a spa-like master bathroom overlooking a private courtyard.

The new asking price of $2,900,000 breaks down to $567 per square foot and a monthly payment of $21,025. Dobbs paid $2 million for the Florida estate in 2005.
Dobbs hosted Moneyline and later Lou Dobbs Tonight on CNN from the network's inception. CNN parted ways with Dobbs in 2009 after he drew widespread condemnation by mainstreaming the "birtherism" conspiracy theory, which falsely claimed President Barack Obama was not a natural-born American citizen.
Dobbs then hosted the show on Fox Business until February of 2021, when the conservative network canceled his program after voting technology company Smartmatic named Dobbs and Fox in a $2.7 billion defamation lawsuit led in part by his false coverage of the 2020 election results. Dobbs was one of several Fox hosts who pushed the unsubstantiated claim that voting machine companies had helped to "rig" the election.
Dobbs hosted the Great America Show on iHeartRadio at the time of his death. His cause of death has not been released.
