Carrie Underwood is essentially country music's Snow White. The star has one of the most tender hearts when it comes to animals, so she'll always make time for them, even when she's in a crunch.

Underwood apparently goes on a morning jog when she's at home in Nashville, and while running around her property and beyond, she has a lot of exciting encounters.

In a quick video snippet, which we've captured for you here, in pictures, she is seen petting her donkeys and speaking gently and quietly to them, as if they had just woken up, as well.

You can really hear the sincerity in her voice, all caring and mom-like.

Continuing on her journey, the "Give Her That" singer also stumbled upon a cat who went belly up for her. Any cat owner will tell you that when a cat goes belly up, they fully trust you and are ready to accept your petting.

Underwood says this cat is a stray they've taken in as their own — it hangs out on her property and her sons have lovingly named him "Lonely Boy."

Boy, did he find his way to the best home! He's certainly not lonely anymore.

Next up for Underwood is a busy spring as an American Idol judge. She also has more shows scheduled as part of her popular Las Vegas residency.

Evan Paul is the host of Taste of Country Nights, a syndicated radio show heard on more than 130 country radio stations nationwide, every night from 7PM to midnight. The radio show reaches over 21 million listeners per week. He plays the best new country music and interviews today's top stars, like Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Dan + Shay, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Lady A, + more!
