Congratulations are in order for Sam Hunt, for winning Single Record of the Year at the 2018 ACM Awards with "Body Like a Back Road." Hunt was not at the ceremony, so presenters Nancy O'Dell and Dustin Lynch accepted the award on his behalf.

Hunt's utterly catchy "Body Like a Back Road" spent a record-breaking 25 weeks at No. 1, so it only seems fair that the song would win some accolades. The song also did well on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at No. 6 and becoming the highest-charting country song on that chart since Florida Georgia Line's "Cruise." "Body Like a Back Road" was certified four times platinum by the RIAA and is Hunt's most successful song to date.

Hunt wrote the song shortly after announcing his engagement to his now-wife, Hannah Lee Fowler, adding a personal touch to the playful, flirtatious single. The couple are celebrating their one-year anniversary on the same day of the awards ceremony, April 15, and have in the first year of marriage cemented their place as one of country's cutest love stories. Hopefully, Hunt is missing the ceremony because he and Fowler are celebrating their anniversary!
