The Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla., is just days away and has added more country star power. In addition to Rodney Atkins, who will perform at the official welcome party on Sunday (Aug. 26), the four-day event, set for Aug. 27-30, will also include performances by the Oak Ridge Boys and Lee Greenwood, as well as southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd.

The Oak Ridge Boys, who were recently named the official leading singers of the national anthem by the National Music Council, will perform the "Star-Spangled Banner" on Monday (Aug. 27) and will also make special appearances at several other events. Lee Greenwood, best known for his hit, "God Bless the USA," will perform twice on Monday at the Hard Rock Café, with one show open to the public and the other reserved for convention guests.

Lynyrd Skynyrd will also take the stage on Monday as Ann Romney, wife of Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, is introduced.

Also in Tampa during the convention, Willie Nelson was originally scheduled to appear at the Aug. 29 gala for Got Your 6, a nonpartisan organization that helps military servicemembers reintegrate into civilian life. Willie was replaced by Randy Travis but in light of Randy's recent legal troubles, he has been replaced at that event by hip-hop performer Wyclef Jean.
