Lauren Alaina has a hot career going for her, so it's hard to imagine her being left out in the cold. But that's just what the singer says happened last night (Jan. 24) at a Hilton hotel in Maryland, according to Taste of Country.

"Taxi man took me to the wrong Hilton & the people at this Hilton garden inn in Gaithersburg, Md are making us wait out in the cold for a cab," the 17-year-old shared with her Twitter followers last night. In two subsequent tweets, she added: "I sure hope I [don't] catch a cold bc of these inconsiderate people. Sir whoever you are I hope your horrible situation that made your outlook on life so awful. We will be praying for you. And because of the way you [treated] us we will never stay at your hotel so we won't need that KEY."

A bit later, the singer tweeted: "Not taking anything away from Hilton hotels Bc they are great. However I'm just saddened by the negative attitudes people have these days."

Lauren's followers quickly expressed their own feelings about the situation and commiserated with her. Not long after her first mention of the incident, she tweeted: "Im sorry I'm using twitter to vent. It just makes me upset to think of all the people they may have done this to already. Oh well. Love yall."

Lauren soon found a way to put a positive spin on the late-night freeze-out with a tweet that read: "I just want to say how thankful I am to @JasonAldean For letting me be a part of his tour. #mykindapartyforsure."

Jason's generosity on the tour has extended beyond having Lauren serve as his opening act. He also invited her to the stage to perform Kelly Clarkson's part on the Grammy-nominated 'Don't You Wanna Stay.' (And if you're keeping track, that makes a third combination of duet partners on the song. There's Jason and Lauren's version below, Kelly's version with Blake Shelton and, of course, the unmistakable original!)
