British singing sensation Adele has packed a lot into her 23 years. Both her freshman and sophomore albums, '19' and '21' respectively, have sold millions of copies in both the United States and the U.K., and earned her a pair of Grammy awards. Now the London native is planning on spending more time across the pond to expand her musical repertoire.

"The melodies and to-the-point lyrics I have found in a lot of American styles of music is definitely something I'm going be pursuing heavily from now on," she tells The Sun. "I want to spend some time in Austin and Nashville and learn about it."

The singer-songwriter has spent much of the last few years performing her eclectic music in North America, which has influenced her desire to dabble in other genres. "I was exposed to a lot of country, rockabilly and bluegrass because I was touring for such a long time," she explains.

It may be a bold move for her to make a musical change after enjoying such sweet success with her current catalog, but the brave songbird insists she has no reservations. "I feel like a four-year-old in a candy shop who's discovering sweets again," she notes. "Every day is amazing when it comes to discovering new artists."

The songbird definitely won't have trouble making friends in Music City. Little Big Town have already proclaimed their love for the singer, performing their own version of her No. 1 hit, 'Rolling in the Deep' for one of their popular webisodes. Adele also performed a medley of her tune 'Chasing Pavements' and Sugarland's hit 'Stay' with the country duo at the 2009 Grammy Awards. She was also nominated for a CMT Award earlier this year for her live performance of Lady Antebellum's hit, 'Need You Now' with Darius Rucker.

Adele's current tour includes a show at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium in October. Keep track of her concert schedule here.
