The acting bug continues to bite Carrie Underwood. After playing a Christian youth leader in the family-friendly film, 'Soul Surfer,' the country superstar's next acting role will be as herself. She'll make a cameo on the CBS drama, 'Blue Bloods,' singing 'It Had to Be You' with legendary crooner Tony Bennett on the show.

"Having musical legend Tony Bennett and the hugely talented Carrie Underwood perform on our show is a true gift. The talent that they bring together is amazing," says the series' Executive Producer Leonard Goldberg. "We're looking forward to an exciting second season premiere with a story that is certain to provoke debate, and are thrilled that Tony and Carrie can be a part of it."

The dazzling duo's performance will be set at a political fundraiser attended by show stars Tom Selleck and Bridget Moynahan. The 'Blue Bloods' set reunites fellow Grammy winners Tony and Carrie, who recorded 'It Had to Be You' for the 84-year-old pop crooner's 'Duets II' album, due in stores September 20. They also sang together back in 2006, alongside Michael Buble and Josh Groban, on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show.'

The second season premiere of 'Blue Bloods' airs September 23 at 10:00 PM ET on CBS.
