Kenny Chesney has added another date to his Goin' Coastal Tour. The entertainer will hit the New Meadowlands Stadium (home to the New York Jets and New York Giants) in Rutherford, N.J. on Aug. 13, 2011, marking his first stadium show in the area. Tickets for the show, which will also feature co-headliners the Zac Brown Band, as well as special guests Billy Currington and Uncle Kracker, go on sale Dec. 11.

Kenny has played to more than a million fans each summer for the last eight, except for his self-imposed hiatus from the road this year. Even after all of these years, Kenny says music and performing still excite him.

"There's still a lot of me that is that kid from East Tennessee that's really got wide eyes and still loving the music," he explains. "And I love what I do. I love getting on stage. I love sometimes when the bus leaves at midnight, and I get on it, it's a little quieter these days because I don't have all the crew and the band and everybody on the same bus. I did that for seven years, but we're still having a blast out there, and it still seems new, even though we've been doing it a long time."

The stadium tour kicks off March 19 in Tampa, Fla., and is scheduled to wrap Aug. 27 in Foxboro, Mass. The shows in Philadelphia, Pa., and Foxboro, Mass, have already sold-out with more shows going on sale on Saturday, Dec. 4 and 11. Additional arena and amphitheater shows will be announced at a later date, and word has it this will be Kenny's biggest tour since his 2006 Road and the Radio tour.

Fans can purchase tickets at Kenny's official website. Pre-sale tickets will be made available for Kenny's fan club members prior to the on-sale date.
