Lady Antebellum, who already have a trophy case full of awards, are currently nominated for five CMA Awards, five American Music Awards, seven American Country Awards and a People's Choice Award. Now, their trip home to Augusta, Ga., for a November 15 concert date, will "pave the way" for another special honor, as the road surrounding the James Brown Arena will be named Lady Antebellum Way. The honor is being bestowed upon the trio for ceremonial purposes, in recognition of their show, which sold out in seven minutes.

"I think it is an appropriate thing to do," Augusta Mayor Deke Copenhaver tells WDRW-TV. "We always want to celebrate Augustans that have gone on to do well and make it big. They definitely have."

The trio's Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley grew up near Augusta and graduated from Lakeside High School. While in town, the band will also perform a special half-hour acoustic set during the afternoon of the show at Bell Auditorium.

Before their special hometown show, Lady Antebellum, who are climbing the charts with their latest 'Hello World,' are scheduled to play Friday (November 5) in Grand Prairie, Texas, and Houston, Texas, on Saturday (November 6). For more Lady A tour dates, click here.
