Toby Keith Bullets in the GunToby Keith came out with his 'Gun' blazing as his latest album debuts at No. 1 on both the Top Country Albums chart and the Billboard 200. 'Bullets in the Gun' sold just shy of 71,000 copies, with last week's chart-topper, Kenny Chesney's 'Hemingway's Whiskey,' falling to No. 2 with second week sales of 65,000, according to Nielsen SoundScan. 'Bullets' is Toby's ninth No. 1 country album, and his fourth to top the overall chart as well.

In an exclusive interview with The Boot, Toby revealed a secret about writing for this album, which he says helped the project develop into his "favorite album in five or six years." The secret -- the voice-recording app on his handy-dandy iPhone!

Elsewhere on the charts, country music held its own against other genres as both Toby and Kenny's albums bested the first-week sales of Bruno Mars' 'Doo-Wops and Hooligan,' which bows at No. 3, followed by Eminem's 'Recovery' and the Zac Brown Band's 'You Get What You Give,' still going strong at No. 5, with 43,000 copies sold this week.

While fans anxiously await the release of Taylor Swift's 'Speak Now,' the 20-year-old superstar's 2008 smash album 'Fearless' has sold in excess of six million copies and is now in its 100th week on the Top Country Albums chart, sitting just outside the Top 10 at No. 11. The title track from 'Speak Now' bows at No. 2 on the Hot Digital Tracks chart, with 217,000 downloads in its first week.

All eyes will be on Taylor, Sugarland, Keith Urban and Reba McEntire, among others, as country music unveils the highly-anticipated releases from those artists in the coming weeks!
