Amy Grant Mourns Tragic Loss of Bandmate

Amy Grant is mourning the loss of Grammy-nominated guitarist Will Owsley, who toured with her for 16 years. Will died last week in what has been ruled a suicide.

"We are all reeling today from the news of Will Owsley's death," Amy says. "So many of us in Nashville worked with Will, lived with him on the road, celebrated his talents and knew his anguish. Please join us in praying for his family and his children."

The talented musician was also favored by producer Mutt Lange, who employed Will to play with Shania Twain on several nationally televised performances. Will's extensive studio credits also include recordings by Selena Gomez, the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato.
