Tim McGraw will continue to keep the memory of his late father, Tug McGraw, alive this Friday night (April 23) with his annual 'Bowling for Brains' fundraiser put on by the members of Team McGraw. The event will serve as a warm-up party before the 11th Annual Country Music Marathon & 1/2 Marathon. The evening will consist of a silent auction, a "carb-out" pasta bar, music entertainment by former 'Nashville Star' contestant Lance Miller, and of course, bowling.

"I've done a lot of things with Jennifer who runs Team McGraw," Lance tells The Boot. "She is just fabulous, and anything she asks me to do, I graciously do. It's a great organization. It's close to Tim and means a lot to him as well. Anything that he feels that passionate about I'm going to try to be a part of it if he would like me to."

Team McGraw is a training program that raises funds and increases awareness for the Tug McGraw Foundation. All proceeds from the 'Bowling for Brains' event will benefit the Tug McGraw Foundation.

"We are so thankful and appreciative of the dedication and strength of Team McGraw," says Tim, honorary chairman of the Tug McGraw Foundation. "Their efforts help generate much-needed attention and funding for quality of life research for those who are affected by brain tumors and other neurological conditions."

'Bowling for Brains' will be held at the Tusculum Lanes in Nashville from 5:30 to 9:30 PM. Tickets are $10 to $35 and can be purchased through the official website for the Tug McGraw Foundation by clicking here.
