Miranda Lambert Wins ACM Album of the Year

Miranda Lambert takes home the 2010 ACM Award for Album of the Year, for her critically-acclaimed CD, 'Revolution.'

"Thank you so much," said Miranda, who gave boyfriend (and fellow ACM winner) Blake Shelton a high-five and a big hug upon hearing her name called as the winner. "This music is what I do. It's the only thing I live for. Thanks for loving it. It changed my life."

Joined on stage by the producers of 'Revolution,' Frank Liddell and Mike Wrucke, Miranda graciously tried to offer her partners a chance to speak. But CBS began to play music and pan the cameras out as Mike began to talk, causing an obviously annoyed Miranda to yell, "Really?!" The ACMs then quickly cut to footage of the Zac Brown Band on their USO tour.

The Zac Brown Band were also nominees in the Album of the Year category, along with Brad Paisley, Lady Antebellum, Carrie Underwood and winner Miranda.

Miranda took home three ACM Awards this year, as she also won Video of the Year for 'White Liar' and Top Female Vocalist. It was the Texas songbird's first win in the vocalist category, while the album category is a lucky one for her. Her sophomore album, 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,' won the ACM Album of the Year in 2008.

Miranda followed her Album win with a performance of one of the CD's most poignant tracks, 'The House That Built Me,' as images of Nashville's Ryman Auditorium flashed behind her on the big screens. It was her second performance of the night, as she kicked off the live telecast with Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Charlie Daniels and John Fogerty in a rocking collaboration of Creedence Clearwater Revival's 'Travelin' Band.'
