John Rich and Wife Welcome Baby Boy

Congrats to John Rich and his lovely wife, Joan, who welcomed their son, Cash Rich, to the world early Sunday morning (Jan. 10). A rep from the singer's record label has confirmed that the baby, named after Johnny Cash, was born at a Nashville hospital only three days after Daddy John's 36th birthday.

When we ran into John at the CMA Awards back in November, he was gushing with excitement for the new addition to his family, who he predicted would arrive over the holidays.

"I didn't book a New Year's Eve show," he told us. "I'm going to stay at home and wait on the big arrival ... maybe get him some rhinestone diapers and a rhinestone pacifier!"

John and Joan tied the knot in 2008 after quietly dating for more than five years. The Boot was the first to announce their pregnancy back in October. This is the first child for the happy couple.
