Jamey JohnsonThree good buddies share the CMA Award trophy for 2009 Song of the Year: Jamey Johnson, James Otto and Lee Thomas Miller for 'In Color.'

"I never even thought y'all would let me come to stuff like this but thanks," Jamey said, as the crowd erupted in laughter. "This has been an unbelievable experience. Thanks for listening to my music and letting me do what I do."

"I want to thank my wife because I forgot to last time!" James joked, as he accepted the award, alluding to his acceptance speech for ACM Song of the Year, which also went to 'In Color.'

"When we were writing this song, we talked a lot about our grandfathers. So since it's Veteran's Day, we really owe this to them," said Lee Thomas.

Jamey has three other CMA nods this year, including the coveted Best New Artist honor.
