Luke Bryan's highly anticipated sophomore album, 'Doin' My Thing' is out today (Oct. 6), and Amazon has the disc available to purchase -- today only -- for just $3.99! The album includes the runaway hit single, 'Do I.'

Part of the sophomore curse is not having a big song," Luke tells The Boot. "Luckily we've already got a song doing well that makes us a little more relaxed and comfortable."

Of course, while Luke's fans are celebrating the new album, he's a little preoccupied doin' his thing, playing a marathon of live shows across the country. Yesterday, he kicked off the first of what will be a total of nine shows in 10 days, at Hurricane Plantation in Statesboro, Ga. Today, he's giving a hometown concert at the high school football field in Leesburg, Ga.

"The last time I sang on that field, I had written a song for graduation," he says. "It will be nostalgic to go back and now play a full show." Other tour stops include Charlotte, N.C. (Oct. 7), Greenville, S.C. (Oct. 8), Tampa, Fla. (Oct. 9), Atlanta (Oct. 10), Augusta, Ga. (Oct. 12), Chicago (Oct. 13) and Minneapolis (Oct. 14).

Of the new disc, Luke says, "My first album had great hits [including his Top 5 debut, 'All My Friends Say'], and it sold well, but everything about that album is beatable. We wanted to make a bigger-sounding record, something that moved a little down the road from the first record. We wanted to show my growth vocally and lyrically."

Luke co-wrote the first single from the album, 'Do I,' with Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood of Lady Antebellum. Lady A's Hilary Scott can be heard on it singing backing vocals.

The Boot will have more of our exclusive interview with Luke later this week.
