Martina McBride will play wedding singer this Wednesday for a couple getting married on NBC's 'Today' show. The country star will sing her new song, 'I Just Call You Mine,' as Leigh Daniel and Nick Cordes tie the knot in front of millions of viewers.

It was 21 years ago that Martina herself walked down the aisle, marrying John McBride. She says the secret to her long, happy marriage is quite simple.

"I chose well," Martina writes in a blog for MSNBC. "I married a man who is a great partner. He is thoughtful, kind, considerate. romantic, handsome and really funny. We love each other's company, our personalities complement each other and we respect each other. He thinks I'm smart and funny and I think the same about him."

Martina and John are also business partners, as they run Nashville's Blackbird Studios together. They have three beautiful daughters: Delaney, Emma and Ava. But as great as her home life is, Martina also wants fans to know that they have the same little problems most every married couple faces.

"We both have faults," she writes. "He leaves his socks and T-shirts on the floor by the bed. I am always late. He likes to have the radio on loud in the car while he's talking on the cell phone (that drives me crazy). I don't put the cap back on the toothpaste, and my side of the bathroom is really messy. But as he left the house this morning, he asked me, 'Is there anything I can help you with or do for you today?' And I will try (really hard) to be on time when we go out to dinner tonight. He is always happy to hear from me, even if it's his 100th call that day. And I will make sure he knows again today how important he is to me."

You can see Martina on the 'Today' show wedding this Wednesday at 8:00 AM ET on NBC. And despite media speculation that she will continue her wedding singer stint at the marriage of a Jonas Brother, well ... don't believe everything you read.

"No I have not been asked to sing at Kevin Jonas' wedding!" Martina writes on her Twitter page. "That was what you call a 'media misunderstanding.' However I would be happy to!"
