Sugarland co-founder Kristen Hall is suing her former band mates, alleging that they promised her a share of the group's earnings after she left. According to a lawsuit filed last month in Atlanta, Hall was to equally share Sugarland's profits and losses after she left the band in 2005. She alleges that she has been completely excluded from profits since her departure, so she is suing for $1.5 million.

Hall, pictured left with former partners Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush, started Sugarland with Bush in 2003. She wrote or co-wrote every song on their debut album, 'Twice the Speed of Life.' Hall left the band before production started on their second album, explaining that she wanted to concentrate on her songwriting.

Sugarland's latest album, 'Love on the Inside,' is No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album charts with sales of almost 500,000 to date. There has been no response so far from their camp on the lawsuit.
