Zac Brown Waiting for a Blue Bundle of Joy

Zac Brown's wife may not want to read this. Shelly Brown is pregnant with the couple's fourth daughter, and Zac tells The Boot he wants to keep trying for a son.

"We're just gonna keep on going until we have a boy," says Zac, who is one of 12 children. "If that's 13, then I doubt I'm gonna be able to pull that off, but we'll see."

Juggling his home life with a busy touring schedule is hard, admits the Grammy winner. But he does the best he can, "as a man trying to live out my destiny musically and balancing that with being a family man."

He's found it is all a matter of balance. "If I'm gone too long, things get weird and if I stay home too long without getting to play, it's too much," he says.

The Zac Brown Band, who just celebrated their 'You Get What You Give' album's debut at No. 1, are home for a month before resuming touring in November. "I'm ready to be with my girls every day for a while," Zac says. "It's overdue."
