Zac Brown Band are booked as the musical guest for an upcoming Saturday Night Live episode.

The country group will make their SNL debut on March 7, the show announced via Twitter. Actor Chris Hemsworth, who will also be making his debut on the sketch comedy show, is lined up to host that evening.

ZBB are the second country act to appear on Saturday Night Live this season: Blake Shelton served as both host and musical guest for the show's Jan. 24 episode; he took part in six of that night's sketches and performed twice. Taylor Swift, who has both hosted and performed on SNL in the past, made a cameo during the SNL 40 special on Feb. 15 as well.

Garth BrooksWillie NelsonKris KristoffersonJohnny CashDolly Parton and Tim McGraw are among the list of country stars who have appeared on Saturday Night Live since the show began in 1975.

Zac Brown Band recently released a new single, "Homegrown," and are working on a new album. They most recently released a greatest hits package in November and The Grohl Sessions, Vol. 1 EP in 2013.

“We’re all continuing to grow up and get better as musicians, and the chemistry as a band continues to deepen,” Zac Brown says. "Our boundaries have dissolved, and we’re going to still do things that are somewhat familiar that people like, but we’re also going to stretch out and take chances beyond what we’ve done before. Some people are going to be really surprised."

Saturday Night Live airs live beginning at 11:35PM ET.
