Zac Brown has been added to the lineup of performers at the 2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

The singer will join rock guitarist Tom Morello in paying tribute to the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, who are among this year's class of inductees. The other 2015 inductees are Ringo Starr, the "5" Royals, Green DayBill WithersLou ReedStevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts.

Other musicians scheduled to perform during the ceremony include Dave GrohlJoe Walsh, Gary Clark Jr.John Legend, Karen O, Nate Ruess, Beck and Jimmy Vaughan. Paul McCartneyStevie WonderPatti Smith, J. Geils Band singer Peter Wolf, Fall Out Boy, John Mayer, Steve Cropper and Miley Cyrus will give the induction speeches.

Brown isn't the only country artist who has taken the stage on one of rock 'n' roll's biggest nights. Last year, Carrie Underwood joined Sheryl Crow, Stevie Nicks, Bonnie Raitt, Glenn Frey and Emmylou Harris in inducting Linda Ronstadt into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The performance comes at a pivotal time for Brown and the Zac Brown Band. The group has landed in the Top 5 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart with their latest single, “Heavy Is the Head,” from their upcoming Jekyll + Hyde album.

“We’re all continuing to grow up and get better as musicians, and the chemistry as a band continues to deepen,” Brown says. “Our boundaries have dissolved, and we’re going to still do things that are somewhat familiar that people like, but we’re also going to stretch out and take chances beyond what we’ve done before. Some people are going to be really surprised.”

ZBB are also planning to hit the road this summer for a tour in support of Jekyll + Hyde. All of their shows are listed on their website.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on April 18 in Cleveland, Ohio. Tickets to the event are sold out, but viewing party tickets are available at RockHall.com.
