Wynonna Judd announced her plans last year to marry musician and longtime friend, Cactus Moser, but the singer says she isn't about to get caught up in lavish wedding plans.

"I've been to so many events and done so many push-up bras and sparkles and hairspray," she shares with People magazine. "I just want to be free and have fun."

The 47-year-old country legend reveals her wedding will be "simple and sweet," and while she is keeping many of the details to herself, she does say the ceremony will occur in the fall, for one very important reason: "It's not a sweaty time for brides."

Cactus, a drummer for Highway 101, Julianne Hough and his fiancee, popped the question on Christmas Eve after more than two years of dating. It will be Wynonna's third marriage.

The bride- and groom-to-be are now getting ready to hit the road for a series of shows with the new band, Wynonna and the Big Noise, but Wy plans on keeping her focus on family. "It's time for me to stop the car, take out the map and see where I'm headed," she says. "So I'm just gonna live and enjoy every day being engaged and getting married."

Wynonna is also working on a brand-new album, as well as taking more time out for her health, after several medical scares prompted her to lose 50 pounds. Keep track of Wynonna's concert schedule here.
