There is good news for Willie Nelson fans worried about the country legend's health: His son, Lukas Nelson, says that the "medical issue" that forced the postponement of three 2015 Django and Jimmie Tour dates with Merle Haggard is "minor," and that the elder Nelson is doing just fine.

A Facebook post from Lukas Nelson on Wednesday (Oct. 14) features a family photo of Willie Nelson, his wife Annie, Lukas Nelson and his brother, Micah Nelson, on a tour bus at one of the brothers' recent shows with Neil Young.

In a second Facebook post, also from Wednesday, Lukas Nelson writes, "In other news, thanks for the prayers and love for Dad. His health issue is minor, and he's doing great. Love to all ..."

Nelson and Haggard were expected to begin their joint tour on Thursday (Oct. 15) in Florence, S.C.; the show has now been rescheduled to April 6, 2016. The note from the venue announcing the postponement sparked concern among Nelson's fans.

“We have just been informed that Willie Nelson has a medical issue and will be rescheduling the first half of his tour dates,” the note states. “We know this is last-minute, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, but our hearts and best wishes go to Willie Nelson and his family during this time of health concern.”

Nelson and Haggard's concert that was scheduled for Oct. 16 in Roanoke, Va., has been rescheduled for Oct. 19, and refunds are currently available for their concert scheduled for Oct. 17 in Reading, Pa. The rest of their tour dates are on schedule.
