Willie Nelson’s Fourth of July Picnic Returns for 41st Year

Willie Nelson has announced that he will be hosting his Fourth of July Picnic again this year.

The 41st annual picnic will take place at the Fort Worth Stockyards 'North Forty' on Friday, July 4 in Fort Worth, Texas. Nelson began hosting the picnic in 1973 in Dripping Springs, Texas, and it quickly became an annual Texas staple.

"We are thrilled to play a part in the 41-year history of the picnic and do it in the Fort Worth Stockyards," Concho Minick, President of Billy Bob's Texas, says in a press release. "The artist lineup and festival environment this year will be the best in picnic history. When you see it you will agree."

The event features an all-day outdoor concert with two stages, a VIP tent and sky box. Ticket prices range from $40 - $250 and can be purchased at billybobtexas.com or williespicnic.com. Fans can purchases general admission tickets for $20 between Feb. 21 and Feb. 23, before any of the event's headliners are announced.
