Americana four-piece Wild Rivers are premiering an in-studio performance of their song "Call It a Night" exclusively for readers of The Boot. Press play above to watch to the intimate, stripped-down rendition.

With killer harmonies and heartfelt lyrics, "Call It a Night" shows off Wild Rivers' lush vocals and seamless chemistry. It's a slow-burning song until the last minute or so, the quiet intensity building from the first notes to give "Call It a Night" a gorgeous finish.

The lyrics of "Call It a Night" detail a fight between a couple. The lyrics give the impression that it's a big one, one that's probably going to not get fully resolved just yet: "I don't want to make a stand and, hell / I don't give a damn 'bout who's wrong and who's right," goes the chorus. "Can we call it a night?"

Formerly known as Devan & Khalid, Wild Rivers are vocalist and guitarist Khalid Yassein, vocalist Devan Glover, guitarist and bassist Andrew Oliver and drummer Julien Laferriere. The indie-folk band hails from Toronto, Ontario, Canada; their most recent EP, Eighty-Eight, on which "Call It a Night" appears, is Wild Rivers' second multi-song effort, following their 2016 self-titled debut project.

Wild Rivers' Eighty-Eight EP is available to download and stream on Spotify and Apple Music. Fans can catch the quartet out on the road this fall in support of the disc, including stops in California, Oregon, Washington and New York City, as well as multiple dates in their home country of Canada.
