Western Centuries, ‘Double or Nothing’ Music Video [Exclusive Premiere]

Seattle-based country band Western Centuries are debuting their music video for "Double or Nothing" exclusively on The Boot. It's a simple clip, but the "Double or Nothing" video shows the group's members doing what they do best: performing.

Western Centuries, formed by vocalist, guitarist and drummer Cahalen Morrison, also includes pedal steel player Rusty Blake; vocalist, drummer and guitarist Ethan Lawton; bassist Dan Lowinger and vocalist and guitarist Jim Miller. In the "Double or Nothing" clip, the band is playing in a small, brightly lit room with humble decor, and even though it's a heartbreak tune, the song itself is full of life thanks to the spot-on performance.

"I tend to gravitate toward heartbreak songs with an optimistic twist and an upbeat melody, even if that's not how I'm feeling at the time," Lawton, who wrote "Double or Nothing," tells The Boot. "And I do live way up on a hill where you can see the city lights."

"Double or Nothing" comes from Western Centuries' new 12-track record, Weight of the World, which was released by Free Dirt Records on June 3.
