After a recent motorcycle accident, Wayne "The Train" Hancock has announced that some of his upcoming shows have been canceled.

The singer-songwriter from Texas suffered a collapsed lung and fractured elbow in the accident, which occurred on Saturday, April 26. According to his Facebook page, where is condition is being updated regularly, Hancock was wearing a helmet at the time.

"He is doing fine but will be in Hospital ICU for a few more days and then will be put in regular room," says a post from April 28. "They are keeping him in ICU due to the lung and watching him closely and trying to prevent him from getting Pneumonia, His arm is in a soft cast...But his spirits are high and wishes he could be with Y'all, but things are out of his hands at the moment and must do as the Doctors tell him so as to make sure he CAN return to Y'all. He sends his Love and Regrets and asks for Prayers and Good Thoughts..."

A press release from Hancock's label, Bloodshot Records, has announced that all of his live shows through June 8 have been cancelled to give him time to recover from his injuries.
